Not giving 40 ms of low latency while gaming as mentioned on box.

Recently i bought a wireless gaming neckband from nearby electronic market. Its name is 'Lyne Rover 9' wireless gaming neckband also having 50 hrs battery backup. It is mentioned that it provides low latency of 40ms while gaming. I experienced nearly 1.5 second delayed sound while gaming, not even close to mentioned latency on box. What do i do next is there is any option to enable gaming mode or 'Lyne rover series' is advertising false gaming features?
